Zion Lutheran School began in September of 1943, and presently serves children in kindergarten through the eighth grade.
Zion Lutheran Pre-school began in September of 1998, and presently serves children ages three to five. Both are maintained and supported by Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church a member congregation of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Control and supervision of the school is exercised by the voting membership through its Church Council, Elders, and the Board of Christian Education. Zion Lutheran School offers Christian education for students in grades K-8. Classes offered are: Religion, Saxon Math, Reading, English, Spelling, Physical Education, Art, Music, Science, and Social Studies. Zion also participates with Valentine Middle School for students in 7th-8th grade for sporting opportunities. Zion is part of the Nebraska District of WELS schools and participates in sports days at Nebraska Lutheran High School. Students participate in plays, forensic presentations, along with a Christmas program at Zion Lutheran Church. |

Bible lessons are taught daily to teach the children about their Savior and what he has done for them. |
